Mau Aima is a panchayat town located 34 KM towards North from district Allahabad. Phulpur, Allahabad, Lal Gopalganj Nindaura, Sultanpur are the nearby Cities to Mau Aima. Chitpalgarh, Raniganj, Siwaith and Sikandra are some of the towns surrounding Mau Aima.

It is an one of the oldest town area of India. Mau Aima has literacy rate of about 70%, and the population is total about 20,000. Mau Aima is formerly known as KAMALABAD. Mau Aima gives many freedom fighter i.e. Mr.Sheikh Naseeruddin, Mr.Zahoor ahmad, Mr.Intikhab Ahmad etc. Here a historical place is situated called "LADAO". It is constructed on 1730. Mr. Zahoor ahmad is a great politician in ancient PRO BRITISH INDIA.
The first primary schools was Madarsa Jamia Islamia, Abu Haleem Patti. Mau Aima has 3 Inter College i.e


Mau Aima is a very peacefully town, no communal harmony in the people of mau aima.

The first chairman of Mau Aima was Mr.Faizullah in 1930, the second chairman of Mau Aima was Mr.Ayyub, third was Mr.Tuffail, fourth was Mr.Abdul Hakeem, fifth was Mr.Mohammad Umar, sixth was Mr.Abdur Rasheed, seventh was Mr.Mohammad Noman and now the current chairman of Mau Aima is Mr.Shoeb Ansari.
